They are blanks in a solid grey color that lets the keyboard LEDs shine through. I don’t like animated keyboard LEDs, but I have customized solid LED colors to make each layer visually distinct and to help me out with some infrequently used keys. My Voyager has clicky Kailh Choc White keyswitches.
